On Friday 6th November 2020, the Hardy Signs team joined other members of the business community and the local community in Burton upon Trent to sleep rough for a night. The annual event aims to raise awareness for homelessness and more importantly raise donations for the YMCA Burton.
This time, things were slightly different. The Sleepout had been adapted to the social distancing measures which were in place so this time it will be virtual. You could sleep on your kitchen floor, your garden, your workplace, or sofa surf. Sleepout by yourself – with your family, with your friends, your work colleagues, or even your pets!
‘You can sleep in or sleep out – it’s your shout!’
Over the last 2 years, we’ve raised over £2000. This year we aimed to raise £1000 and our grand total was £1,985!!
Our team is taking the challenge of running, walking and cycling 176 miles.
