With nearly 400 branches nationwide, City Electrical Factors Ltd (CEF) is the UK’s leading electrical wholesaler. Established in 1951, the CEF group now extends beyond the UK to North America, Ireland, Spain and Australia.

Customers are at the heart of everything CEF do, a company which supplies everything from cable and lamps to sockets, ventilation, heating and switchgear. Earlier in the year, CEF (Burton on Trent) reached out to Hardy Signs to source temporary signage in the form of PVC Banners, whilst the store underwent a refurbishment.

Now, with the refurbishment complete and the store re-opened following the lockdown restrictions, Hardy Signs has carried out a complete external signage project for the branch. The suite of signage includes bespoke manufactured, folded sign trays displaying the familiar corporate branding of CEF. Additionally, there are signs to indicate the entrance and goods inwards locations on the exterior of the building. The project is completed with an acrylic sign mounted on stand-off spacers to clearly display the store opening times.

Most recently our fitting team travelled to Coventry to install more retail signage for their store there. This signage consisted of foamex panels with printed graphics and laser-cut acrylic faces for the counter.
