‘Transforming the UK since 1993’ is the strapline that Hardy Signs chose to celebrate 25 years in business.

Whilst 2018 has been an intensive celebratory year, the Burton-based company has continued to make friends in business and secure more fantastic signage projects.

The company is delighted to announce that in June 2018 they headed to Brussels, to complete another signage project involving a series of internal and external signage for the automotive giant, Plastic Omnium. This international organisation specialises in the manufacture and commercialisation of automotive plastics and has been a client of Hardy Signs for more than 20 years in the UK.

Award-winning sign-makers Hardy Signs has been providing a variety of signage in multiple locations for Plastic Omnium in the UK including Swadlincote, Warrington, Tamworth, Measham, and Birmingham.

French auto-parts manufacturer, Plastic Omnium, is investing €50 million in the Brussels plant, where they will employ up to 200 engineers. The new research centre will be dedicated to fuel cells and hydrogen propulsion.

The first signage installed for this signage project at the new building were external signage, large Illuminated LED Light Boxflex-face signs.

All the signage material was manufactured in the UK at the Hardy Signs HQ in Burton upon Trent and transported to Belgium by the company’s own fleet.

Hardy Signs successfully won the second phase to install interior signage – which were installed in December 2018, leading to the official opening of the plant in 2019.

Nik Hardy, Founder & Managing Director of Hardy Signs said: ’’This is a significant milestone for the company celebrating 25 years in business and winning our 1st International project cements our excellent reputation in the industry.’’
