Now that the clocks have officially ‘sprung’ forward, Hardy Signs Limited has set its sights on the summer months and in particular one of the most prestigious motorsport events on the calendar. In February of this year, the professional signage and display company, based in Burton upon Trent, was delighted to announce its partnership with Chateau Impney Hotel & Exhibition Centre and in particular – The Chateau Impney Hill Climb event.

The deal sees Hardy Signs named as official signage partner to the hotel –  a Grade II listed 19th-century house built in the style of an elaborate French château near Droitwich Spa in Worcestershire. Boasting a client base that includes many hotels, spas and conference venues across the UK, Hardy Signs is experienced in the design, manufacture and installation of signage and display for this particular sector. The Chateau offers one of the largest exhibition spaces in the West Midlands alongside one of the finest, most authentic examples of classic French chateau-style buildings in the UK, with a rich history spanning more than 100 years.

“This partnership represents an exciting venture for us as a company” explained Nik Hardy, Managing Director of Hardy Signs Limited. “We are establishing a relationship that has the potential to be very successful for both ourselves and Chateau Impney – we feel our expertise in this sector can be invaluable, offering solutions for all areas of the organisation”.

The Hill Climb is a revival motorsport event that takes place annually in 140 acres of picturesque grounds, a stunning English parkland setting with quaint bridges over glistening streams and a glimpse of the impressive Malvern Hills in the distance. The award-winning company’s support of the event will form part of the package and include the exclusive sponsorship of the finish line at the Hill Climb, which returns on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July 2017.

More than 200 invited pre-1967 cars will tackle the challenging 885-metre course along with exotic cars and bikes from every era performing demonstration runs.

The event will also offer a wide variety of family-friendly entertainment including a vintage fun fair, face painting, live music, air flypasts and many new additions for 2017. A trade village will feature, where visitors can purchase goods from both local businesses and specialist traders, and a number of food courts will host a variety of local food and drink vendors serving up a taste of the region.  With more than 15,000 people expected over the weekend and coverage on national TV, Hardy Signs will provide solutions to inform, direct and promote the visiting public, exhibitors and sponsors alike.

Large format banners for grandstand sponsorship, event marquee branding, site maps and directory signage form just a small part of the wide range of signage and display required across the site. ‘The Impney Party’, the black-tie Saturday night gala dinner for competitors and invited guests, will see 650 guests dining in the expansive Broadway Suite with entertainment including stand-up comedy, live music and a casino. Again, signage and display will be required from table numbers to digital display screens – the Hardy Signs team will be based on site in the days leading up to the event and throughout the weekend itself.

“We’re delighted to have Hardy Signs Limited on board this year” explained Andrew Johns, Director of Sales at Chateau Impney. “I have worked with the team for a number of years now and their products and service will be a great asset to both the Hotel and the Hill Climb event.

The partnership represents the importance that we at Chateau Impney place on the relationships, not only with our clients, but also the wider community of suppliers and sponsors”
