The Hardy Signs team has successfully demonstrated its UK-wide service, having recently completed a large scale rebrand project for Dawsongroup plc.
The privately owned and managed business, headquartered in Milton Keynes, operates across the UK and in Europe. After over 40 years of using the Dawsonrentals name, Dawsongroup has switched to use of its group title, in order to more accurately represent the wide range of business services.
Dawsongroup directly employs around 1000 people, across some 41 group location and so the signage rebrand project would require a carefully managed strategy.
With a vast experience in delivering similar projects, Hardy Signs were appointed to carry out the initial works for 23 sites, in England and Scotland, over a two week period.
The project would include the design, manufacture and installation of a range of signage and display products to bring each site in line with the new brand identity.
Full suites of external signage including fascias and legislative health and safety solutions have been implemented. In addition, the reception areas at each site now display the revised Dawsongroup brand with complimentary acrylic signage, flame-polished for a premium finish.
The award-winning sign company based in Burton on Trent was ideally equipped to deliver the project, covering sites as far north as Glasgow, to as far south as Exeter.
“A project of this size and scope requires careful planning to ensure everything is completed to satisfaction, and in the designated two week timeframe” explainedTom Hardy, Operations Director for Hardy Signs. “It’s testament to our production and installation teams that this first phase of the project was completed with great success. We’ll now be turning our attention to the remaining sites and the completion of the project as a whole”.
Nikola Thorpe, Dawsongroup Project Development Manager concluded: “With a project as large as this one, and with such a significant impact on our brand, choosing the right supplier was of paramount importance. Hardy Signs have been a great partner for us as we embarked on our signage rebrand, which included our initial tour of their premises, a consultative approach to signage solutions to meet the needs of our operating sites and the prompt turn around of everything from quotes, to proofs to installation. The fact that Hardy Signs also use their own fitters was also a key driver in our decision to work with them, as we knew the levels of customer service and quality would be maintained.”
