In 2018, Hardy Signs celebrates 25 years in business. The start-up launched on August 1st 1993, has now established a nationwide reputation for its high quality products and services throughout many sectors. Hardy Signs combines industry expertise with innovative technology to deliver an unrivalled signage and display service.

To celebrate 25 years in business with friends and clients, Hardy Signs has been holding some events and campaigns.

A social media campaign started on July 4th, publishing 25 facts  about the business over the years.

 

👉 In addition to traditional signage, Hardy Signs also supplies digital signage. Six years ago, we started trading a wide range of digital solutions, the fastest growing marketing tool globally. Constant innovation has kept us ahead of competition and made us a leading signage company in the UK.

👉 Over the years, Hardy Signs has been supporting local charity campaigns alongside other Burton based companies.

Some of the charities we have been supporting are:

– Midlands Air Ambulance Charity

– Prostate Cancer UK

👉 Just over 2 years ago Burton and South Derbyshire College and Hardy Signs opened the ‘Sign and Print Academy’. Hear from Cole Clarke, the first apprentice who has been hired on a full time basis from Hardy Signs and lecturers of Burton College.

 

                              

👉 Hardy Signs loves sports, and particularly football. ⚽ Over the years we have proudly worked with some great names of English football.

👉 Today we celebrate the 7th year in our unit situated in the Maltsters, Wetmore Road. Hardy Place was a big step for the company, promoting growth as more space allowed further investment.

👉 For the second consecutive year, HS were proud sponsors of the Finish line at the prestigious Chateau Impney Hill Climb motorsport event this month. 

As official signage partner this is one of our favourite events on the calendar, such a picturesque venue. You can now re-live this year’s event for yourself – an hour-long show is available to view now via the Channel4 on-demand service.

👉As part of or celebrations in our 25th year of business we’re excited to be hosting a Charity Golf Day in September at Drayton Park Golf Club. We’ll be raising funds for 2 local organisations who do some great work in our community… Today we were delighted to welcome Paul Laffey , CEO of Burton YMCA (left) and Mark Gray from O’Connor Gateway Charitable Trust (right) – to help launch the event, more to follow soon!

👉 There’s cause for celebration today, We’ve got two birthdays at HS today!🎉 John and Jamie are both celebrating their birthdays. They wouldn’t say their age, so we’re assuming they both turn 21. John has worked as accounts manager for a number of years.  Jamie is one of our talented members of the manufacture & Installation team.

👉Hardy Signs is an active member of Burton & District Chamber of Commerce, one of the 10 divisions of Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce . In addition, HS iS also part of East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire). These organisation are great platforms for businesses…promoting growth and prosperity across the region.

👉 Mark Hughes joined the manufacture and installation team at HS in late 2003 having previously managed a sandwich franchise.

The change of industry appealed to Mark who enjoys a challenge and keeping busy. In his role, Mark enjoys the ability to demonstrate many practical and technical skills that he feels come naturally to him. When not at HS, Mark spends much of his time with his family…he also enjoys cycling and listening to music.

👉 Dave Blunn has been part of the manufacture and installation team at HS for 13 years, having previously worked in building trade.

The signage industry appealed to Dave who enjoys large, challenging projects. In his role, he enjoys being out and visiting different places. Dave enjoys playing golf and would love to get better at it. He also likes travelling.
