Next generation signage for next generation fleet management

June 30th 2010

Hardy Signs have recently completed another successful signage project at local fleet management specialist, CBVC.

The works consisted of a series of interior and exterior signs for the company's new premises on Horninglow Street, Burton. Firstly, on the main exterior window face, the Hardy Signs team produced and installed a full colour printed graphic in a revolutionary "One-Way Vision" film. The material has been specifically developed for window advertising where the view from the inside of the building needs to be retained. The print is applied to the white face of the adhesive film and the reverse face is left black. The entire sheet is perforated allowing clear vision from the interior and yet a striking advertising display from the exterior.

In addition, a new fascia sign has been installed to the front elevation using a combination of 3d acrylic lettering and PVC panel to create the company logo. Further vinyl lettering is used across the width of the current fascia to display the company message.

"CBVC were keen to use their second window space to advertise their latest deals and special offers which are likely to change on a regular basis" said Nik Hardy, MD. "We have installed contemporary acrylic holders that have been suspended via a tensioned cable system... allowing posters to be displayed and removed frequently - thus providing the ideal solution".

The signage scheme and new office layout are finally complimented by large scale acrylic wall art images, mounted via stainless steel locators. These pieces are modern and clean cut, ideal for the environment that CBVC were looking to create whilst still conveying the desired message.

CBVC Director, Richard Wileman commented, "From our first meeting with Nik, it was clear we were in the right hands. He went away with our initial ideas and presented a professional proposal along with, just as importantly, a keen price to secure our order"
